I am going to travel to the Basque country, Northern spain. I need up-to-date info on the best and cheapest air fares, etc. I will be staying in a hostel. I hope to vacation for 3 or more weeks.

As i do every year, i will be visting all of my friends and family in Erandio and Leiketio during the months of August into September. For anyone interested, if you ever visit Erandio, please either go to Xixili Cafe or Bars Goiko or TRUST and tell them the Americano "Barry" sent you. Please dont forget to say hello to the Alcalde either, Mikel Arieta-Araunabena Bustinza, a good man who is in charge of a beautiful place.

I´m a girl from BIlbao and in August (7-17) I´m going alone to NYC. I´m going to visit the New York basque club. Which is the better day to go?. Would you want to carrie from here something hard to find in USA (food, drink...)?

I had lived as a kid in lower Manhattan and attended the Centro vasco at that time with my mom. who incidentally was related to Valentin Aguirre and was very familiar with the jai Alai restaurant and hotel. Where is the present Basque center located should I make a return visit to New York from California. Much obliged. MA
